RK is an alumnus of the National Defence Academy, Pune. That foundation, in discipline, decision-making under pressure, and leadership without title, shaped the philosophy behind every ProventusHR programme. He went on to complete an MBA in Human Resource Management from IMS, Indore.
His corporate career spans senior HR and leadership roles across six organisations. Across those roles, RK observed the same pattern consistently: leadership development delivered content without changing behaviour. That observation became the founding premise of ProventusHR, established in 2015 with a deliberate constraint , no generic programmes, no off-the-shelf content, evidence at Kirkpatrick Level 3 or above on every engagement.
The central conviction behind RK's work: insight borrowed from a facilitator does not travel back to the workplace. Insight produced by the participant's own encounter with a leadership challenge does. This is not a pedagogical preference. It is what the evidence shows about adult behaviour change.
ExperienceLearning, the methodology RK developed over more than a decade of facilitation practice, inverts the conventional sequence. The experience comes first. The framework comes second, naming something the participant has already discovered. The commitment follows, grounded in something real rather than conceptual.
REEL|Life, the cinematic reflection methodology RK created, applies this principle through film. A precision-curated scene surfaces a leadership dilemma. The debrief produces the insight. The framework arrives at the point of maximum receptivity. The outcomes are measurable in ways that conventional content delivery rarely achieves.

Rama Krishna (RK) is the Founder Director and Principal Consultant of ProventusHR. An NDA alumnus with an MBA from IMS Indore, he has 25+ years of experience spanning corporate roles at TCS, JPMorgan Chase, Jet Airways, ESSAR, and NRB Bearings, followed by a decade running ProventusHR. He has facilitated 1,000+ workshops and completed 8,000+ coaching hours.
RK holds a Master Coach certification through the Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Centred Coaching programme. The MGSCC credential requires documented evidence of measurable stakeholder-rated behaviour change in executive coaching clients and is one of the most rigorous evidence-based coaching certifications available.
RK created REEL|Life, a cinematic leadership reflection methodology using film scenes as leadership cases. He designed LEAP, the multi-month journey with nine Brandon Hall Awards. ExperienceLearning, the overarching design methodology behind all ProventusHR work, was built and refined by RK across a decade of delivery.
RK has received nine Brandon Hall HCM Excellence Awards between 2022 and 2025, including four Gold awards for Leadership Development. He has been an invited speaker at the International Conference on Cross-Cultural Management at the University of Jammu and has published articles in Dataquest and Human Capital.
Executive coaching with RK uses the Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Centred Coaching approach. Behavioural change is measured by stakeholders, not self-report. Engagements typically run six to twelve months and begin with a stakeholder interview process to identify the one or two behaviours that will produce the most significant shift in how the leader is perceived.
Yes. RK personally leads all leadership capability development, executive coaching, DEIB and women leadership engagements at ProventusHR. The firm does not operate through a bench of associates. Every client engagement is designed and facilitated by RK directly, which is why ProventusHR takes a limited number of engagements each year.
