Skip to main contentA gender-intentional leadership journey for women in mid to senior management, addressing identity, visibility and influence.
LEAP Women Leaders is ProventusHR\'s gender-intentional leadership journey for women in mid to senior management. Six mindset modules addressing identity, visibility, and the specific systemic challenges women navigate in complex enterprise environments, combined with the same leadership capability foundations as the cohort-agnostic design. Delivered through ExperienceLearning methodology.
Women leaders in the Indian enterprise face a specific set of challenges not addressed in standard leadership development programmes. The intersection of identity, systemic expectation, and organisational culture creates documented patterns: under-investment in visibility, over-investment in performance at the expense of positioning, and the particular confidence-competence gap that appears in high-performing women rewarded for doing more but not always for being seen.
LEAP Women Leaders is a gender-intentional design built on the same six-mindset architecture as the cohort-agnostic LEAP journeys. The architecture is identical. The content, cases, REEL|Life selections, simulation scenarios, and coaching focus are calibrated to the specific challenges of women leadership development in the Indian organisational context.
The programme is designed for women in mid to senior management navigating a leadership transition or seeking to accelerate advancement into larger roles. It is frequently paired with a parallel Men as Enablers session for the sponsoring leaders of all participants.

REEL|LifeModule 02
Building teams without over-functioning
Addresses the coaching discipline and delegation habit required to lead through others without the performance anxiety that drives over-involvement.
Floor SimulationModule 03
Visibility, sponsorship and strategic risk-taking
Builds deliberate visibility habits, sponsorship-seeking discipline, and calculated risk-taking orientation that increase the probability of selection for larger roles.
REEL|LifeModule 04
Influence, negotiation and navigating organisational politics
Builds structured negotiation, stakeholder mapping, and skills for navigating informal power structures. Addresses influence patterns and the equivalent disciplines available to women leaders.
Computer SimulationModule 05
Commercial leadership and strategic positioning
Builds business acumen, P&L thinking, and enterprise-level commercial awareness required to position for general management roles and board-level accountability.
Computer SimulationModule 06
Resilience, sustainability and leading without losing self
Builds personal resilience architecture, boundary discipline, and life-design habits for sustained high-level contribution without the burnout that characterises attrition of senior women talent.

Context
A leading technology services firm identified that despite strong performance metrics at mid-level, women leaders were advancing to senior roles at a significantly lower rate than male peers. Exit interviews consistently referenced a sense of invisibility, lack of sponsorship, and a perception that the informal leadership culture rewarded visibility behaviours the women found inauthentic or inaccessible.
Design
ProventusHR designed an eight-month journey with REEL|Life modules on identity and voice, Floor Simulations on influence and negotiation, and individual coaching throughout. A parallel Men as Enablers session ran for direct managers and senior sponsors of all participants. The CHRO participated in the opening and closing modules.
