Team development programmes are designed for intact teams of 8 to 20 people. The interventions depend on real interpersonal dynamics, not simulated ones. A team of fewer than 8 lacks the diversity of perspective the design requires. A group of more than 25 is typically a divisional or functional cohort, not an intact team, and requires a different design.

Can team development address poor team performance directly?+

Yes.
