One cohort changes individuals. Successive cohorts change how the organisation talks about leadership, performance, and accountability. That is when culture shifts.
ProventusHR is a Leading Bespoke Leadership Advisory that designs LEAP as a multi-cohort culture investment. When successive cohorts share the same ExperienceLearning methodology, module vocabulary, and Self Impact Showcase measurement standard, a common leadership language emerges across the organisation. This language changes how leaders discuss performance, delegation, accountability, and culture, producing the cultural shift no single programme event can achieve.
Culture is not a set of values on a wall. It is the sum of the conversations that happen daily in your organisation: how a manager gives feedback, how a team names what went wrong, how a senior leader talks about accountability in a town hall. The language of those conversations is the culture.
When an organisation runs a single leadership programme, it changes the language of the participants. When it runs successive cohorts using the same vocabulary and frameworks, the language begins to spread beyond the cohort. A manager who uses the Nurturer archetype in a delegation conversation is introducing that vocabulary to their direct report. By the time the direct report attends their own LEAP cohort, the language is already familiar. By the time the third cohort has completed, the language is present in performance reviews and HR processes that were never formally part of the programme.
This is not accidental. It is the result of designing successive cohorts with cultural embedding as the explicit goal, not individual development alone.
Three mechanisms carry the LEAP language beyond the cohort and into the organisation.
The Six Archetypes
Protagonist, Nurturer, Maverick, Campaigner, Sentinel, Keystone. Used consistently at every LEAP level, these six archetypes become the vocabulary for leadership conversations across the organisation. A senior leader using Nurturer language in feedback is speaking in the same vocabulary an emerging leader learned in Module 2.
The Sprint Application
Between every module, participants apply the targeted behaviour in their real workplace. This means the language is being practised in real conversations with real colleagues, not confined to programme sessions. Every sprint is a language transfer event outside the cohort.
The Self Impact Showcase
The 90-day Showcase uses the same vocabulary across every cohort. When a manager co-signs a Showcase, they are engaging with the LEAP language in a formal accountability context. This embeds the language in the evidence and performance infrastructure, not just the development conversations.
Leaders at different levels who attended different programmes using different frameworks, producing a Tower of Babel effect in leadership conversations across the organisation
Culture values that remain aspirational because no development architecture exists to translate them into specific observable behaviours
Performance conversations varying dramatically across managers because there is no shared language for what good leadership looks like in this organisation
What Successive LEAP Cohorts Produce
A shared leadership vocabulary used consistently across levels, so a performance conversation between a senior leader and a first-time manager uses the same conceptual framework both encountered in their LEAP journeys
Language diffusion beyond the cohort, as alumni carry LEAP vocabulary into daily conversations with colleagues who have never attended a module
A longitudinal evidence base showing the CHRO and Board how the leadership language is changing specific behaviours across the organisation, cohort by cohort
Through consistent vocabulary across cohorts and levels, sprint application that carries language into real workplace conversations, and the Self Impact Showcase that embeds the language in the evidence and performance infrastructure. By the third cohort, the language is present in conversations with people who have never attended a LEAP module.
Protagonist (leading self), Nurturer (developing others), Maverick (psychological safety), Campaigner (stakeholder influence), Sentinel (business acumen), Keystone (resilience and culture ownership). Used consistently at every level, these become the shared vocabulary for leadership conversations across the organisation.
Language shift begins in the second cohort as alumni carry vocabulary into daily conversations. By the third cohort the language is present in performance reviews with people outside the programme. The CHRO who commissions successive cohorts gets a different organisation.
Design for Culture, Not Just Development
ProventusHR designs the vocabulary and architecture of successive LEAP cohorts with the cultural embedding goal explicitly in mind. The conversation begins with the culture the organisation needs to produce.
