ProventusHR designs bespoke diversity and inclusion leadership training through four flagship DEIB programmes: Elephant in the Room for psychological safety and belonging, Unseen Verdicts for unconscious bias in decisions, Women emPower for gender equity leadership, and Inspire2Aspire for inclusive leadership capability. Every programme uses ExperienceLearning to produce specific, observable leadership behaviour change.
Most diversity and inclusion training produces awareness, not behaviour change. Leaders learn about unconscious bias, complete an implicit association test, and leave with a commitment to be more mindful. Six months later, the hiring panels are still homogeneous, the feedback quality is still lower for non-dominant groups, the career sponsorship is still flowing to leaders who look like the people already at the top, and the psychological safety in team meetings is still asymmetrically distributed. The awareness existed before the training. What was missing was a change in the specific leadership behaviours that create or suppress inclusion.
ProventusHR DEIB programmes address the behaviour gap directly. Each programme uses ExperienceLearning to place leaders in the situations where inclusion is created or destroyed, surfaces their default response, and practises the replacement behaviour before the next real occurrence. The outcome is not a more aware leader. It is a leader who does something differently in a specific situation.
Each programme addresses a distinct dimension of inclusive leadership, all built on ExperienceLearning methodology.
Elephant in the Room
Addresses psychological safety: the leadership behaviours that determine whether team members will name problems, challenge assumptions, and raise difficult truths. Uses ExperienceLearning simulations to surface the specific leader behaviours that suppress safety and practises the replacements. The most commonly requested ProventusHR DEIB programme for leadership teams.
Unseen Verdicts
Addresses unconscious bias in high-stakes leadership decisions: hiring, promotion, performance rating, career sponsorship, and project assignment. Uses REEL|Life methodology and structured simulation to surface the bias pattern in the decision, not in abstract. Participants leave with a named decision in which they will apply a specific bias interrupt in the next 30 days.
Women emPower
ProventusHR's gender equity leadership programme. Addresses the Gender Intelligence Mastery Journey including gender leadership gaps, sponsorship versus mentorship, and the organisational conditions that create or suppress gender equity in the leadership pipeline. Designed for both women leaders and the male leaders who influence their advancement.
Inspire2Aspire
ProventusHR's flagship inclusive leadership capability programme. Builds the full range of inclusive leadership behaviours: psychological safety, equity in voice and visibility, bias interruption in decisions, sponsorship of non-dominant groups, and the cultural practices that make inclusion self-sustaining.
Organisations with strong DEIB intent at the top whose middle management layer is not producing the inclusion outcomes the strategy requires
Leadership teams where psychological safety exists in theory but the data shows non-dominant voices are consistently not heard in decisions
Companies with good representation at entry level whose pipeline thins dramatically at senior manager and Director levels
Organisations where unconscious bias training has been delivered but hiring, promotion, and performance patterns have not changed
CHRO-led initiatives where the DEIB strategy is clear but the leadership behaviour change required to execute it has not been developed
What ProventusHR DEIB Programmes Produce
Named behaviour change: each leader leaves with a specific inclusive behaviour they are committing to change, in a specific situation, observable by a named stakeholder
A team psychological safety assessment that names the specific leader behaviours creating or suppressing safety, not a general climate score
Bias interrupts in the specific high-stakes decisions where bias is most consequential: hiring panels, promotion decisions, performance calibrations
Sponsorship activation: senior leaders who leave with a named sponsee and a specific visibility action committed for the next 90 days
A DEIB leadership behaviour standard that is observable, measurable, and held to the same evidence requirement as all ProventusHR programme outcomes

Unconscious bias in high-stakes decisions. REEL|Life methodology, bias interrupt design, and 30-day decision commitment.
Explore ›Programme
Gender equity leadership programme. Gender Intelligence Mastery Journey for women leaders and their sponsors.
Explore ›Programme
Full inclusive leadership capability journey. The complete ProventusHR DEIB programme for organisations building sustained inclusion.
Explore ›Standard diversity awareness training builds knowledge: leaders learn about bias, understand the research, and leave with good intentions. ProventusHR DEIB programmes build specific leadership behaviours through ExperienceLearning: leaders encounter the inclusion situation in a simulation, see their default response, receive the framework that names what happened, and practise the replacement behaviour. The outcome is a named, committed behaviour change, not improved awareness.
Elephant in the Room is most relevant when psychological safety is the primary gap: meetings where the same voices dominate, problems not surfaced until they become crises. Unseen Verdicts is most relevant when bias in specific decisions is the measurable problem. Women emPower is for gender equity leadership specifically. Inspire2Aspire is the most comprehensive and is suited to organisations building a sustained inclusive leadership culture.
Yes, and this is often the most impactful design. When the senior leadership team experiences a DEIB simulation together, what emerges reflects their actual team dynamics: who speaks, who is not heard, whose ideas are credited, whose discomfort is accommodated. The debrief for a senior team addresses those specific dynamics and produces an operating agreement the team holds each other to.
ProventusHR designs DEIB programmes from the business case, not the moral case. Psychological safety is a performance driver. Bias in hiring decisions is a talent quality problem. Sponsorship inequity is a pipeline cost. Leaders who are resistant to inclusion framing are often receptive to performance, talent, and business case framing. The diagnostic conversation identifies the most relevant entry point and the programme design leads with it.
Psychological safety is the shared belief within a team that it is safe to speak up, take risks, and raise difficult truths without fear of embarrassment or punishment. Research by Amy Edmondson consistently identifies it as the strongest predictor of team performance. It is a leadership behaviour because it is created or destroyed by specific actions the leader takes: how they respond when someone raises a problem, whether they acknowledge their own uncertainty, whether they credit others' ideas visibly.
Yes. ProventusHR frequently integrates DEIB modules into LEAP journeys for organisations where inclusive leadership is identified as a pipeline-wide capability gap. The DEIB module sits within the LEAP architecture with the same ExperienceLearning methodology, 30-day experiment structure, and Self Impact Showcase measurement. Inclusive leadership becomes part of the leadership evidence portfolio, not a separate initiative.
ProventusHR measures DEIB programme impact through three mechanisms: the specific behaviour each leader commits to changing and stakeholder observation at 30 and 90 days; the team psychological safety climate score before and after; and where the programme addresses hiring or promotion decisions, the bias interrupt documentation from specific decisions in the 90 days following. The evidence standard is named, specific, and manager-verified.
